Waking Dream River Walk
Where does it Lead? What does it Mean? Take a "Medicine Walk" down Little Wilderness Canyon.
Unwind, Be, Follow your Flow. Come back with a new insight, a problem solved, a sense of guidance or numinous encounter that helps you in your everyday life. Let Darlene show you how to use Mother Nature as a guide, therapist and healer. Spend a morning, afternoon or whole day. This program includes a preparation session before you go out and a process session to work with your waking dream on your return.
A Waking Dream River Walk can be compared to walking a labyrinth, except that instead of following a pre-marked meandering path into a geographical center, in the waking dream walk you follow your "natural attractions", walking down little wilderness canyon, until you arrive at the "center", which in this instance is an intuitive center signalled by a sense of having arrived, or found your place. Here you stop and commune, journaling is encouraged, and then you retrace your jouney back to where you started. Like a labyrinth walk, this meditation can bring much insight and communion with the divine.
It is a form of quest, a journey where you you are the seeker. What are you seeking? Declare your quest at the threshold of your journey and see what Nature might reveal.
