There are a great variety of Natural Communion Experiences available for the retreater at the Earthwalk Center. Some can be exported to your own natural sanctuary, hiking area or favorite secluded place in nature.
The basic pre-requisite is the Natural Communion Consciousness Class, where you will learn some simple techniques that will act as a gateway into your deeper presence with nature. This class can be tought in conjuction with any of the Natural Communion Programs offered. Please refer also to the Foundations of Natural Communion. Walking Dream River Walk - a walk along the Rappahannock where you learn to listen to Nature's guidance. Rappahannock River Quest - an all day natural communion retreat floating down the river. This can also be a weekend retreat with a campout on the Rappahannock River. Natural Communion Healing (Sweat)Lodge - A cleansing and healing ceremony using the sacred alchemy of the elements and the teachings of the medicine wheel. Medicine Wheel Teachings - various workshops, talks, and ceremonies working with the earth mandala, known as the medicine wheel or sacred circle, including the circle ceremonies, such as women's full moon gatherings and drumming circles. (This page is under constructions) Ancient/Future Fire Circles Another facet of the Natural Communion Programs offered at the Earthwalk Center, this is a fire side story telling program, where the Great Story of the Universe is shared in various ways. Parts of this story are also taught in other Natural Communion Programs. Various talks and presentations of this Story, can be arranged for your group. (This page is under construction) Little Wilderness Passage - a personal/spiritual quest or wilderness passage in Little Wilderness Canyon just below the Earthwalk Center.
