Pathwork and the Power of
Presence
with Darlene Rollins and John
Bayerl
A Two-Day Retreat July 3-5,
2009
Friday 8 pm to Sunday 2 pm at Sevenoaks
Retreat Center
Eckhart Tolle describes the “pain-body” as our accumulated
suffering from the past c a negative energy field that periodically overtakes
us. The pain-body works primarily through our
unconcious “absence” and drags us down into vicious circles of despair, rage,
shame, and hopeless
grief.
The Pathwork is a contemporary spiritual path that invites us
to more and more “presence” in our daily
lives. Through Pathwork practices of meditation, deep self-inquiry, and
immersion in spiritual law, we become more consciously present to our true
nature as beings of light and love.
We also encounter our hidden and not-so-hidden resistance to this
awakening, expressing as persistent patterns of pretense, confusion, and
ill-will. We can then apply the “presence,” of conscious, compassionate
awareness to our negative resistance within a container of divine help and
mercy.
John Bayerl and Darlene
Rollins are long-time Helpers who have taught
